Hey Colin – with Scan2CAD only 2D cDXF files are supported.

Bear in mind that JPEGS and any other image file types are only 2D. So it’s not strictly possible to automatically convert the 2D to 3D. You would probably be best converting the files to DXF with an application like Scan2CAD.

At which point you’d have a clean 2D CAD file with which you’d need to input the ‘z’ axis information. You couldn’t do this step with an application like Scan2CAD.
This probably isn’t the information you were hoping for but I hope it helps somewhat.
