-Architectural drafting with AutoCAD and revit
-Civil/ structural engineering with AutoCAD, revit and civil 3d
-Mechanical drafting autocad , Inventor
Steel detailing modelling with tekla .
I live in Vancouver. I see electrical drafting is a good paying field on your post.
Do you have any comments or suggestions about these drafting careers ? I like steel detailing with tekla a lot but i do not if it would be better structural engineering drafting ?
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated .
thanks in advance
cheers!

It’s certainly possible. But I don’t know anything about your circumstances.
Whichever company you apply for will likely use a different suite of software. So search for those companies using the software you’re most competent in.

Good luck

That answer to that is totally dependent on what you’re creating.

Check out AutoCAD, Solidworks, Catia, Vectorworks, Archicad and more.

Yep, geolocation has a bearing on the cost of living and competition and therefore the salaries can vary wildly in different locations.

Yes, of course. Not everyone that works in technical design and engineering has a degree. Everyone needs a ‘foot in the door’ somehow. You just need to find your own way of entering the companies.
You could try internships or remote freelance work for companies as a way of gaining experience.

Totally agree. If you’re just taking a job for the money, you probably won’t last long.
