I would recommend using software designed for the purpose – CAD/CAM/CNC software rather than graphic design software.

If you have a question related to CAD/CAM/CNC software you can ask the community on CAD Answers

The issue I have is with inkscape. Every time I export my image as DXF and upload it to my Silhouette machine. It comes out with small lines instead of curves and that’s when I use an online image converter. When I export it straight from Inkscape into Silhouette the image is messed up. I’ve been searching the web and your the only with valuable info.

What software are you using to convert to DXF? If it’s Scan2CAD drop us a message along with the file. We’ll get back with instructions for converting it.
