You’ll just need to check which file your CNC software supports. Most likely it supports G-code and DXF. Most good CNC software will support DXF.

I would recommend checking our list of recommended options for AutoCAD above. We also have the list of certified GPUs for AutoCAD. You can check if the 1060 (or your other options) are in this list.

Comment on Are MacOS Computers Good for CAD? by M https://www.scan2cad.com/blog/cad/macos-good-cad/#comment-179474 Thu, 17 Feb 2022 17:29:08 +0000 https://www.scan2cad.com/?p=44539#comment-179474 Hi! I am just starting out on CAD and began on Mac, however, I am finding that most are geared toward Windows. Online courses I am taking for college have been using Windows only-which does not translate well for MAC users. I am using MAC because of digital art, but I am wondering if you think it is worth investing in a different laptop for CAD vs. trying to translate what I am lectured on and how to have that work on my MAC

I have been wanting to reintroduce myself to the software but at an affordable price…going through the list above I feel turboCAD would be a good fit for I am starting over so to say…I want to know from working space planners what would recommend to a fellow space planner that has been out of the loop for the last 6 yrs?
